IT WAS AN EARLY MORNING. DOM AND I WOKE UP AT 2:15AM TO MAKE SURE WE CAUGHT THE SHUTTLE. WE BOARDED THE BUS TO THE BANANA CREEK VIEWING AREA AT 05:00 EST. ALL SEEMED WELL. INCREDIBLY THERE WAS AN OPEN FLAME SHOOTING OUT OF THE PLATFORM AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE. SOME SORT OF FUEL BURN OFF.

DAWN OF A NEW ERA IN SPACE TRAVEL
uNFORTUNATELY THE FIRST TWO LAUNCH ATTEMPTS 08.27.22 & 09.03.22 WERE SCRUBBED. FIRST DUE TO a hydrogen flow issue in engine #3 of the core stage. SECOND, DUE TO A HYDROGEN LEAK AT A COUPLER CONNECTING THE FILL HOSE TO CORE STAGE. BUT WE SAW THE SLS IN ALL IT’S GLORY, MADE SOME NEW FRIENDS, AND CAUGHT A SPACEX FALCON 9 LAUNCH FROM TITUSVILLE.
